Our mission here at SASGURUS is both modest and extensive. Our goal is to form the largest community of SAS users, where members can learn from each other and share their experiences in a way they can nowhere else. Here at SAS GURUS, SAS experts are ready to share their extensive knowledge with others. Join us today and become a mentor or consultant, contributing to our pool of SAS knowledge. Or, if you need a consultant or mentor, find what you’re looking for within our growing community.
We pride ourselves in being the one place where SAS users can come together for an intimate, knowledge-sharing experience no matter where they are in the world or what their level of expertise is. More than anything, SASGURUS wants to be the platform that brings everything together for SAS users. We support SAS users in all their endeavors and fully encourage the sharing of tips, tricks, and ideas that can help our community’s SAS knowledge grow.
Our Mission: Spread ideas
Our vision for SASGURUS began when a seasoned Data Scientists with international experience in Health Data Science had a brilliant idea. It was his desire that knowledgeable individuals could come together, share their experience, and learn from one another in a growing online community. As a result, SASGURUS was created in April of 2017 – a blog dedicated to Data Science using SAS®.
The website provides one of the only opportunities for Data Scientists and Programmers to come together informally, outside of their work space or conventions, and share the information that really matters to them and has helped them in the course of their career. We feature detailed interviews with top data scientists and include relative SAS® tips and tricks. The best part is that anyone can contribute and share their knowledge, and anyone can learn from it.
What we have created here is truly a community of like-minded individuals who are distinct in their approaches to Data Science and who are happy to share what has worked for them in the past in order to help others in the field. Our goal is to leave no stone unturned and no topic uncovered. We want to answer questions, encourage growth, and stimulate other Data Scientists into trying new things and expanding their repertoire.
We are so pleased to say that our site continues to expand as more Data Scientists contribute interviews and articles, becoming a truly unique community.
In fact, everything we do — from our Conferences to our Talks to the projects sparked by the sasguru Prize, from the global community to the SASTUTO-Ed lesson series — is driven by this goal: How can we best spread great ideas?
